Transitioning out of the Covid-19 pandemic

We continue to work to reduce Covid-19 spread, as well as the spread of other viruses, such as RSV (respiratory syncytial virus,) or Influenza.  Our community members (that’s you!) did a wonderful job social distancing and getting vaccinated to keep us all safe. We provided safe health care to our patients throughout the pandemic, and will continue to do so with your help.  Do not hesitate to call and schedule a visit in person or a TeleVisit on your smart phone or computer when you need to be seen.

Masking

In accordance with CDC guidelines masks are no longer required in our office. Thank you for your help in establishing enough Covid-19 immunity in our community that we can now safely meet mask free.

If you would like your provider to wear a mask, please ask. It is no problem for us to mask at your request.

If you have symtpoms that could be consistent with COVID-19 then we request that you wear a mask to help prevent spreading a viral infection, Covid-19 or any other.

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

If you have tested postive for Covid-19 then we request that you remain in isolation at home for the first 5 days of symptoms. After that, as long as you are feeling better, you are welcome to come into the office wearing a mask if you need to be seen. We are happy to arrange a TeleVisit, if needed, while you are isolated at home.

Telemedicine

We are expanding our use of medical consultation through computer and phone. While some services require an exam, many visits don’t need to be face to face. See our TeleVisits page for details about this service. When you sign up for the Patient Portal you can also send and receive messages with your provider and our staff. Phone visits are still available to those with Medicare and Medicaid, but not to those with other insurance.

  • See the TeleVisits page for details about signing in for Televisits. Expect a phone call from your provider if you have booked a phone visit.

  • Call us and request to sign up for our patient portal if you have not done so already! It’s convenient to be able to send notes back and forth with your provider and our office staff, request refills, or see the summaries of past visits, or see lab results, for instance. If you are using the portal, it’s especially easy to connect to a Televisit on your smart phone or computer.

  • Sometimes we are running late! In general if your provider has not joined your televisit or called you for your phone visit 30 minutes after the visit time, you can give us a phone call to find out what's happening.

Blood Draws

We are not currently providing blood draws for our patients in the office due to short staffing, but are considering offering it again when we can. We enjoyed providing this service when we could.
